From the first moment I saw the Annual catalogue, I fell in love with the Bird Ballad Suite.
It isn’t just the delightful line drawings and all the potential of the cute little birds, it is also the soft colour palette of the Designer Series Paper.
We were told that these papers were created, first by having sheets printed of the outline drawings. These were then coloured in with our Stampin’ Blends and they were then reproduced to create the papers.
This means, of course, that as well as being beautiful, they are also a guide for our own colouring.
It is unsurprising then that I have a couple of classes scheduled that are concentrating on this suite. You can check out all my upcoming classes here.
The Cards
The first, tomorrow afternoon, is a Stamp-a-Stack. We will create six cards, 2 each of 3 designs. For this class we are going to be making use of the papers, the stamps, those beautiful laser cut cards and of course our Stampin’ Blends.
There will be cards for friends, for New Homes and for Christmas. This is such a versatile stamp set!
The Frame
But I haven’t only used these products to create cards. I spent a lovely few hours, stamping, colouring and fussy cutting to produce this large 30cm/12″ square box frame.
And there will be an opportunity for you to come and create one of these with me.
On September 13th I will be holding a workshop at The Galleria in Burton Latimer. You can find their Facebook page here.
It will cost £35 and this will include your box frame; a kit of products to enable you to create your home décor masterpiece and of course friendly tuition,help and support from myself.
This will be the first workshop I have held in this venue and I am looking forward to working in partnership with them
