We all know people who are having to self isolate to keep themselves safe. This may be because of their age, or other risk factors such as underlying health problems. These people suddenly find themselves unable to pop to the shops to pick up, not just essential foods and medicines, but things they have just taken for granted over the years.
One lady I know had commented, sadly, on a Facebook post that she would be unable to send Easter cards this year. Now here is something I could help with. I checked how many she needed and it was time to go into a bit of mass production.
Of course mass production means getting out your Stamparatus. It also meant some mass die cutting. Here are the elements I needed for 20 Easter cards:
20 ornate crosses 
20 whisper white floral die cuts 
20 Birch Backgrounds
I took the 20 floral die cuts and using one of the negative pieces of cardstock as my template, then lined up the floral flourish stamp from the “Hold on to Hope” stamp set and coloured direct to stamp with Stampin’ Write markers.
All that remained was to add a background coloured mat – some in Pumpkin Pie and some in Pineapple Punch and a co-ordinating sentiment banner using the “Happy Easter” from “Welcome Easter”stamp set.
This bundle of cards took me less than 2 hours from start to finish. Now all I had to was for the dog and I to leave them on her doorstep on a daily walk, stopping to have a quick chat from a safe distance.
