Throughout my Facebook lives this week I have been combining the old with the new.
For these 2 projects, I used some established stamp sets and combined them with this fabulous new 3D embossing folder fromm the new catalogue.
It is called Old Paper. It is a deeply embossed folder which gives you the effect of scrunched up, distressed paper. It is great for tearing and sponging and adding a touch of vintage to any project.
Sympathy with Blossom.
This sympathy card in So Saffron and Very Vanilla, used the Forever Blossom and Path of Peace stamp sets. The Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed, torn and sponged with soft suede ink and I also used the new Tasteful Labels Dies.
Sepia Memories
For this card, I wanted to create a card that was reminiscent of an old photograph in an album depicting a childhood memory. I used the beautiful Moments stamp set and Cajun Craze ink. I then dragged the colour out with an Aqua Painter, adding in some Soft Suede ink.
I think I am going to be using this embossing folder a lot!
