As some of the children start to make a tentative return to school this week, it seemed appropriate that we should be thinking of our teachers and the terrific job they are doing.
The go to stamp set for this job had to be Harvest Hellos. This lovely little stamp set and its coordinating punch, has whole apples, apple slices and pumpkins. There are a range of sentiments, including ones that are suitable for Get Well, Teachers cards and Halloween.
A+
This Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green card uses alphabet stamps from the “Make a Difference” stamp set and the splatter from the “Painted Poppies” to create the corner images. The apple is simply stamped onto a stitched rectangle of whisper white, then coloured with Stampin Blends in Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green and a spot of Mango Melody sneaked it to add a “blush” to the apple. The blends were also used to colour the rhinestones.
Let’s Picnic
The picnic blanket was created from card stamped with the “Buffalo Check” stamp set and Mango Melody ink. The apples were punched from coloured card, stamped tone on tone and the shading and highlights were added with watercolour pencils and a chalk marker. The little tag was die cut from the new Tasteful labels. Definitely a bright and cheerful card to make you smile.
