The Tag Buffet Stamp Set can certainly be used for more than just tags.
Today I am taking part in a Blog Hop with the Crafty Blog Hop team, highlighting the kit and the stamp set and what you can do with them.
The Tag Buffet Kit
This kit is really beautiful. You have enough supplies to create 30 large tags, 5 each of 6 different designs. There are also extra elements left over that you can use for other crafty projects.
The coordinating stamp set is fabulous for creating tags, but has so many uses besides, including creating cards.
My More Than Just Tags Project
I decided to create a card with images from the stamp set. One of the stamps is this fabulous long sentiment, which I stamped in Cherry Cobbler then cut into strips. You could do lots of mixing and matching to create your own sentiments with this collection of words.
- Wishing You Lots of Love
- Love Today, Cherish Tomorrow
- Wishing You Joy and Happiness
- Wishing You Good Time
I’m sure you can come up with lots more.
I used some of the new Classic Christmas paper, that is part of the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle. This Cherry Cobbler print was matted onto some Whisper White card and a Cherry Cobbler card base. The sentiment strips were stuck on the top left and bottom right corners.
The baubles, sprigs and holly were stamped with memento and then coloured with Stampin’ Blends, before being fussy cut. Leaving a slight border around each image made them easier to cut.
The baubles were coloured in Pretty Peacock, Just Jade and Cherry Cobbler and the sprigs in Shaded Spruce. The holly was coloured with Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler. I added Wink of Stella to the bauble and holly berries. Each bauble was finished with a gold thread bow and either rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone collection, or gilded gems.
