I am pleased to be bringing this project, “water colouring the garden wishes”to the Crafty Collaboration’s Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. You won’t be surprised to learn that water colouring is the technique we are focusing on!
My Project
The new Dandy Garden suite of products in the mini catalogue, is packed with product to create your projects with wild flowers and insects. The suite contains
- 2 stamp sets
- co-ordinating die set
- coordinating punch
- 6″ x 6″ DSP pack
- Braided trim
- Ladybug trinkets
The dandelion image was stamped onto some shimmery white cardstock that had been die cut with a stitched label. Using Mossy Meadow ink and Bumblebee ink, I water coloured the flowers. I added a Seaside Spray wash around the edge. The butterflies were stamped in Calypso Coral ink, and I dragged the colour out slightly with a blender pen. The label was mounted onto a Bumblebee label.
Strips of different Designer Series Paper from the Dandy Garden back were used to create the background.
I of course couldn’t resist adding in some Mossy Meadow Braided Linen trim, because I love it. And we needed a ladybug trinket – they are so sweet.
