Has anyone seen my Mojo? Is that your plaintive cry? I have been hearing from quite a few people over this last week or two who have said they have lost their “mojo.” I think with the dark nights, current restrictions and seemingly endless bad news, it can so easily affect our mood. When we are feeling low, it can impact on our ability to get in touch with our creativity. The sad thing is, that we know spending the time getting lost in our crafting can actually do wonders for our mental health. So what tools are there to help up overcome this conundrum.

Get Pinning

Pinterest is a great place to go for inspiration for everything from planning a wedding to cooking the tea. Of course there are lots of pins to help us with our cardmaking. If you take any Stampin’ Up product and put Stampin’ Up and the name of the product in the search bar, you are pretty well guaranteed inspiration. If you don’t know where to start, head over to my Pinterest boards. I would love you to follow me while you are there.

You Tube

Over on You Tube, you can find videos for everything. Lots of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators post lots of content there to teach and inspire you. I always upload my Facebook lives to my channel and I try to keep adding additional content too. Subscribe to mine and other favourite demonstrators pages to be notified when they post something new.

Challenges

There are lots of challenges out there for paper crafters. They may be colour challenges, theme challenges, lists of inspirations. You can take part in them by adding a link to your project on your blog, pinterest board or Instagram, but that isn’t essential. Just browse through a few and see if something inspires you to start creating.

If you are looking for a list of some of the challenges out there try https://paperplayful.blogspot.com

I am on the design team for the Festive Friday challenge team and I love the opportunity to pick ideas from a list and incorporate them into a project. Check out my current design team project.

Tutorial Bundles

Lots of demonstrators are part of groups that collaborate to create Tutorial Bundles. These bundles will give you lots of inspiration on a theme or with a suite of products. I collaborate on several such Tutorial Bundles, so you find lots in my store. Simply buy them, download the PDf and they are yours to use for your personal crafting as often as you like. Just don’t share the tutorials on Social Media. Of course, if you would like to get some for free, shop with me, subscribe to my newsletter or join my team. I love to give them away in appreciation

Stay safe and stay well
