Today’s blog post features a Bloom Where You’re Planted Sketch Challenge.

The Crafty Collaborations Team
The Crafty Collaborations Team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world. Each month we participate in several collaborative projects – including blog hops like this one – that inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share and inspire every crafter to keep their creative energy flowing.
This Month’s Challenge

This month, the challenge for the team was this sketch. I always enjoy interpreting sketches to create cards.

Instructions For My Bloom Where You’re Planted Sketch Challenge
- Fold the card base along the score line.
- Stamp 3 different plant pots on the 3 white squares using Cinnamon Cider ink..
- Stamp the foliage onto some basic White card using Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent. You can create different tones by stamping off with the Evening Evergreen as well.
- Die cut the pieces and then stick them in place on the white squares. For the tall thin plant at the back, I stamped and die cut three images, stamping off for 2 of them.

- Mat the white squares onto the black squares.
- Stick the DSP to the black mat. Arrange the squares on top, sticking the back one flat with multipurpose glue and raising the others with dimensionals.
- Wrap some silver trim around the bottom of the card, sticking the ends to the back with tape.
- Stick this mat to the card base with dimensionals.
- Stamp and cut the greeting and add to the card front with dimensionals.
- Finish the front with some silver epoxy circles.
- Stamp on the Basic White mat and stick inside the card.

Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
How Can I Help?
I hope you have managed to find lots of inspiration on this hop. I love this “Bloom Where You are Planted” suite, but this is a great card layout and it would be fun to experiment with other products.
Do share what you create with it. I would love to see.
Stay safe and stay well
