I am delighted to be joining in with today’s blog hop that is celebrating the launch of the new Mini catalogue and using die cut flowers in my cardmaking.
I can’t wait to see what projects the Demonstrators from the Crafty Collaborations community have shared with us using a selection of the fabulous new products from this catalogue
Using Die Cut Flowers in Cardmaking
For my project I had a play with the dies from the bumper Dainty Delights die set. I combined this with Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-Bration pack “Dainty Flowers”
Before creating my card, I die cut all the different elements from the die set and lay them out so I could play around with them and decide which pieces worked together and some different combinations.
Creating The Card
The paper I chose was a great watercolour effect blended background. I particularly liked the burst of the yellow in the corner as it reminded me of the sunshine. You are going to be able to chose this gorgeous paper pack if you place an order of £45 or more (or your country’s equivalent). I added my mat of paper to a Highland Heather card base before building up my spray of wild flowers.
This “celebrate you” sentiment from the Dainty Delights stamp set would be perfect for so many occasions. I embellished the card with a bow made of white seam binding and some of the new Iridescent Pastel Gems.
For the inside of my card, I added another strip of the Designer Series paper to decorate my insert.
More Dainty Delights Inspiration
This card was created using the Dainty Delight stamp set. the stamped images were cut out with the coordinating dies before being water coloured. This project was created for the fabulous crafty Collaborations launch event featuring 60 Demonstrators from around the world.

Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
How Can I Help?
There is a tutorial bundle of all of the launch event projects being sold in aid of the Michael J Fox Foundation supporting research into Parkinson Disease around the world. It costs $25 (Canadian) which is around £15.50 – what a bargain for 60 tutorials.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if I can help with your purchases, or if you have a crafty question.
Meanwhile stay safe and stay well
