Alcohol Ink Style Floral cards created with the Expressions in Ink Suite from the Annual Catalogue. I created them on my Live a few days ago, so I hope you enjoy them.
The Expressions in Ink Suite
With this suite, the Designers have brought you all the colourful, swirling detail of Alcohol Ink backgrounds, without the inky fingers. The resulting multi tonal papers and clever stamps are a delight to work with.
The beautifully detailed stamp set is red rubber. The bold, floral images come in a variety of sizes and styles and build up into stunning arrangements. There are also some big, greetings in this set in a variety of fonts.
The Artistic dies cut out stamped images. Additionally there are 2 large detailed dies in the set. One die cuts a large floral arrangement and the other a stem of leaves. You can choose to use them as they are, or snip into them to create smaller elements.
The Designer Series paper is another Speciality pack, featuring gold foiling. On some designs the gold foil cuts through the Alcohol Background like marbling to create stunning papers, whilst on others the gold foil highlights bold floral images. The hardest part is being brave and cutting up the paper but you can always buy more!
The final product in this suite is a pack of Expressions in Ink Ephemera. This pack contains gold foil elements – frames and foliage – to add to your projects. There is also a sheet of self adhesive irridescent sequins.
Alcohol Ink Style Floral Cards
The panel of Designer Series paper hardly needs any decoration at all, but who can resist these stamps. I stamped a large Pale Papaya bloom and Shaded Spruce leaves. Die cut, gold foil leaves and a swirl of Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon were added behind the flower. The card was embellished with Gilded gems, because they are the perfect match for the gold foiling in the paper and leaves. The sentiment was heat embossed with gold embossing powder, for that added touch of gold,
I stamped bright Polished Pink and Pale Papaya roses and added them to this stamped background, along with Just Jade leaves. Ephemera pack elements were added to this card and a simple greeting stamped.
