Watercolor Pencils with Shaded Summer

For this Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop I thought I would combine my Watercolor pencils with Shaded Summer.

This hop is highlighting the Watercolor pencils and you will see lots of different ideas for using them as you visit the different blogs.

My Watercolor Pencils with Shaded Summer Project

Watercolor pencils were used to colour this heat embossed image from Stampin' up's Shaded Summer stamp set.

	A4 Metric	Imperial letter size
Basic Black card base	14.9cm x 21cm Scored at 10.5cm on the long side	8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side
Gold Foil	14.4cm x 10cm	5 1/4″ x 4“
Shimmery White	13.9cm x 9.5cm	5″ x 3 3/4″
Shimmery White	9.5cm x 7cm	3″ x 3 3/4″
Basic White insert	13.9cm x 9.5cm	5″ x 3 3/4″

Instructions

Fold the card base on the score line.
Cut the centre out of the Gold foil mat to use on a different project and then stick the frame to the card base.
Using Versamark and black embossing powder, stamp and heat emboss the smaller flower image all over the larger Shimmery white mat. Stick the mat to the card base.
Stamp and emboss the larger flower on the other piece of Shimmery White and use the Sale-a-Bration “Summer Shadows” dies to cut it out.
Colour the flowers with Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral watercolor pencils. These colours are all in Assortment 1. Use a blender pen to blend out the colour.
Die cut a label from the tasteful labels die set. Layer the flower on the label along with a gold foil frame from the Expressions in Ink Ephemera pack.
Stick a swirl of Gold Shimmer Ribbon to the back of the label, before adding this whole topper piece to to the card front with dimensionals.
Stamp the greeting onto Shimmery white card before cutting it in half and matting both sections on Black card. Stick to the card front above and below the label.
Add some Gilded Gems
Stick the insert inside the card.
