These Christmas Cards with Deer were created with the Peaceful Deer stamp and punch bundle from Stampin’ Up on a recent Live.
This lovely festive bundle consists of both a photopolymer stamp and a matching punch. As well as punching out two of the stamped images, the punch also gives you antlers, so you can punch them from textured paper. Additionally there is a dot that makes an excellent red nose. Of course any self-respecting Reindeer needs one of those if they are going to help guide the sleigh.

My Christmas Cards with Deer
Firstly a scene was built up on a DL sized card using the trees and deer from the stamp set. The landscape was created with a piece of torn copier paper together with a blending brush. The deer were all coloured with Stampin’ Blends and then their markings were added in Cinnamon Cider ink. Finally, silver sequins were scattered amongst the stamped snowflakes.
For this second card, a stencil was firstly created by die cutting a label from some cardstock. Next, colour was added into the aperture with the soft pastels. This deer was heat embossed in silver and his antlers were also created to match. This card was kept quite clean and simple, but he still has some pizzazz. The words in the background of the deer read “Oh What Fun” and I think he is a fun Festive character
