For today’s project, I have a fun spin the wheel card
The theme for this month’s Stampin’ Dreams is Kid’s and Babies, so fun interactive cards are always a good idea.
My Spin The Wheel Card
My Grandson has just turned 1, so I am sharing the card I created for him. He may not be quite big enough to turn the wheel, but his big sister is bound to help.
You can find a list of all the products I used in this card at the end of the post, with links to my online store.
The Give it a Whirl die is a bit hidden in the catalogue, but it gives you all the elements you need to create a spin the wheel card easily. You can find it on page 163 in the catalogue. We had great fun with them on a recent class
For this card, I used the Party Puffin stamp set to add lots of fun characters to peep out in the window aperture. they were all stamped in memento ink and colour added with Stampin’ Blends. I should have trimmed a couple of the candles off of the top of the cake so there was only one, but the family will all help blow out the extra ones.
The Designer Series Paper in the background is bright and cheerful and comes from the bumper Pattern Party Host set that is shown on page 171 of the Annual Catalogue. To be able to order this paper you either need to place an order for £170, or host an event that generates £170 in sales. It certainly makes the card pop.
I also used the Playful Alphabet dies to cut lots of number 1’s out for the background. The little stitched heart is one of the dies from the Give it a Whirl set. I dipped into the “A grand Kid” stamp set to be able to add Grandson to the card.
This card makes me smaile, so hopefully it will go down well with the children too.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
How Can I help?
I hope you will “Give it a Whirl” with this die and create some fun interactive cards of your own
Don’t hesitate to contact me if I can help you with your purchases, if you want to find out about hosting an event, or if you have a crafty question.
Meanwhile stay safe and satay well
