I had recently seen a few of these Tri Fold Angled cards and decided it was time to give them a go. I created these two cards on a recent Live.
The fancy fold is easy to create once you are armed with your Stampin’ Up Paper trimmer. I used two very different suites of products to create these two cards.
My Tri Fold Angled Cards
Both of these cards provide such a showcase for the beautiful Designer series paper packs I have used. You can see a full list of the products I used at the end of the post, with links to my online shop.
Harvest Thank You
This first tri fold angled card uses the Nature’s Harvest Bundle and the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper. These are all part of the Harvest meadow suite that can be found in the mini catalogue.
The card features one side of this sheet of patterned paper and the belly band showcases the other side. The decoration is stamp and die cut flowers that have been coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I added a mat of Blushing Bride cardstock to the inside of the card, with a Basic White panel for writing on.
Christmas Whimsy
The second card was a festive one, using the gorgeous Whimsy & Wonder Designer Series Paper and the stamps and dies from the Whimsical Trees bundle.
For this card, one of the tri fold panels shows one side of the paper – the beautiful foiled baubles. The other panel has the reverse side of the paper and I have also used this side for the belly band..
The whimsical Christmas Tree was cut from Mint Macaron cardstock and die cut tinsel and baubles were added, as well as some rhinestones. This lovely Blushing Bride frayed ribbon is also found in the Whimsy &Wonder suite as is the “Joy” sentiment.
