On this recent Live. I demonstrated how to create a wreath card using the Stamparatus. I also used the Christmas Pinecone dies to create a card that featured some distressing techniques.
Both cards were created using the Painted Christmas Suite from Stampin’ Up! The suite consists of two bundles, as well as ribbon, paper and gold holly leaves.
Both of the stamp and die bundles are carrying over at the end of the year and the paper and holly leaves are returning for the July-December 2022 catalogue.
The Christmas Season Bundle features stamped watercolour style images with coordinating dies and labels. The Christmas to Remember Bundle has a sentiment set and large dies that create a backdrop of foliage with matching pine cones.
My Painted Christmas Projects
This first card was a wreath card that was built up on the stamparatus. Holly and pine cones that had been stamped and die cut were then added.
This second card was creating by layering up the two large layers of pine foliage and adding the detailed pine cones on the top. The Crumb Cake layer on this 5″ x 7″ card was torn, scrunched up and inked. The die cut label was from the Seasonal Label dies (part of the Christmas Season Bundle) and the sentiment was from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.
