I’ve had fun this week during my Facebook Lives with the “Come Sail” Away suite. This fabulous selection of products is just perfect to solve a problem all crafters talk about, Cards for Men. If ever you ask for suggestions of the sort of projects people want to see – cards for men always feature. This suite has a collection of papers in blues. greens and crumb cake and there are a range of nautical images on them, but there is also a great range of more generic papers. This is what makes it such an incredibly useful collection to have to match with any of your stamps that you use for the cards for the boys.

Monday

On Monday we re-created a card from the front cover of the catalogue. It used products from the Memory and More card collection, as well as some stamping, some bakers twine and a trinket.

Thursday

On Thursday, I decided to one card and one tag. I like creating tags when playing with new techniques or a range of products. They are like mini works of art. You can of course then use them to attach to a gift, but you can equally use them as a part of a bigger projects – cards , home décor.

For my card I used the “Black Ice” technique. I do like to have a play with something a bit different on Thursday, because it is fun for me and hopefully inspirational for the people watching. This gives a really great textured finish to your cards. You can see the step by step tutorial on the video.

Stamp-a-Stack

Since this product suite launched in the Annual Catalogue, I have had used it lots of times. It is definitely a must have,

I ran a Stamp-a-Stack class where we created 3 more different styles of cards. This included some black embossing and a card with a tab to make the yacht “sail” across the card.

And there is also another blog post featuring these products that you can see here

That is a lot of inspiration. Now you need to know how you can get your hands on them
