This recent live shows me creating a pocket card and a sweet treat gift box using the Sweet Talk Suite from Stampin’ Up!
This cute loved themed suite with its heart and confectionary images is perfect for creating projects for those you love.
The suite consists of:
- A Photopolymer Stamp Set
- Coordinating dies, including a mini envelope and tag
- 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, with some images you can die cut
- A Gingham Embossing Folder
- Iridescent Rhinestones
- Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon
- Little Treat Boxes
Creating a Pocket Card
This simple little pocket card is great fun and has potential for sending messages, memories or even gifts.
The pull out piece gives you the perfect place to place old photographs or memorabilia from shared experiences. There is lots of space to write your message and you could add a pocket on the back to slip in a love letter or a gift card.
The basic measurements for this card are:
Metric | Imperial | |
Blushing Bride Card Base | 10.5cm x 29.7cm Scored at 4cm and 14.9cm | 4 1/4″ x 11″ Scored at 1 1/2″ and 5 1/2″ |
Embossed Highland Heather | 10cm x 3.75cm | 4″ x 1 3/8″ |
Heart DSP | 10cm x 10.4cm | 4″ x 3 3/4″ |
Script DSP | 10cm x 3.5cm | 4″ x 1 1/4″ |
Basic White Insert | 13.9cm x 8.5cm | 3 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ |
Striped DSP | 13.4cm x 8cm | 3 1/2″ x 3″ |
Blushing Bride Back of Insert | 12.9cm x 7.7cm | 3 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ |
Once scored and the front flap folded down, I used tear & tape down the sides to attach the pocket front to the back. The Highland Heather cardstock piece was embossed with the Gingham Embossing folder from the suite.
The little envelope was cut from Real Red cardstock and die cut hearts added to decorate. The small letter peeping out from the envelope was a 2.5cm/1″ square piece of Basic White stamped in Real Red ink.
Sweet Treat Box
These cute little white treat boxes come in a pack of 10 with adhesive in place ready to peel and stick. They would make perfect wedding favour boxes and a great canvas to decorate in whatever style you fancy.
I used some of the paper to decorate my box and die cut the aperture with the row of hearts. Some window sheet was popped behind to ensure no contents escaped.
The faux linen ribbon is beautiful and is a perfect addition to both of these projects.
