I brought these cute spring characters to life by colouring with alcohol markers on a recent Live.
The stamp set I used was the Easter Friends Cling Mount set, featuring a rabbit, a chick and of course this cute duckling. For the rabbit card I also used the dies from the Quiet Meadow bundle to add soft pastel flowers. This bundle is on offer until the end of March 2022.
My Cards Colouring with Alcohol Markers
This first card has a background that was created by inking and spritzing the Splatters 3D embossing folder with Pool Party ink, and then running some Basic White card through the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss with it. I thought this fun splatter effect was the perfect accompaniment to this fun duckling. He was coloured with my Stampin’ Blends.
This second card has the rabbit pepping through a die cut aperture. Again he was coloured with Stampin’ Blends. The dies had colour added with Blending Brushes, as I wanted them to be much softer.

This is such a sweet little set and is useful for so many cards. Definitely not just to be kept for Easter. New baby, get well, children’s birthdays.
One of the lovely things about just focusing on a stamp set, is that you look around to bring in other products to play alongside it. This embossing folder and the Meadow dies are just examples of the many products that would play nicely with the Easter Friends.
