I enjoyed creating cards inspired by nature using the Ringed With Nature Bundle from Stampin’ Up on a recent Live.
The bundle consists of a photopolymer stamp, a coordinating die set and a Hybrid Embossing Folder. The variety of projects you can make with this bundle makes it a versatile addition to your collection. The coordinating papers that are available as a Sale-a-Bration item are just beautiful. These nature inspired images have a watercolour feel in soft autumnal colours. There are even some designs that are perfect for Christmas cards.
New Home
This first card is a fancy fold card that features the Blue Tits papers and a bright house. It is perfect for a New Home card. The paper is from the Rings of Love Sale-a-Bration set which coordinates beautifully with this bundle. I have used a Mint Macaron card base with added mats of Soft Suede.
The foliage has had some Soft Suede berries added with a Stampin’ Blend. Linen Thread is always a go to with any rustic, nature inspired cards.
This inner panel of the card was also decorated with strips of the same Designer Series papers that were used on the front.
Wood Rings
This second card highlights the detail in the die cut wood rings. By using 2 colours of card and some sponging, these wood rings really come to life. The acorns and toadstools are fun additional elements from the bundle. For some extra detail, an open leaf trinket has been added to the card.
The inside of this card was sponged around the edge and then stamped.
