Today I have an autumn themed card to share with you.

Autumn is the theme for this month’s Stampin Dreams Blog Hop featuring Demonstrators who are part of the Crafty Collaborations community. I’m sure there is going to be lots of inspiration for cards to make as we head into cooler days.

An Autumn Themed Card

For my project, I chose to use the Fond of Autumn Bundle, with the large detailed die as my focus.

Having used the die to cut the pattern into some Crushed Curry Card, I then used the Stitched with Whimsy dies to add the stitching around the edge. The card was then embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder. This mat was added to an Old Olive mat and then stuck to an Early Espresso card base. Some die cut Early Espresso corners were also added that had been created from the Fabulous Frames die set.

The leaves, banner and sentiment were stamped onto Old Olive card with Early Espresso ink. The acorns were stamped onto basic White with Early Espresso. An Old Olive Watercolor pencil was used to add a touch of colour to the tops of the acorns and then a blender pen was used to blend out the colour.

All the elements were then die cut and added to the card front, using dimensionals for the banner and acorns.

Next, a bow was added of Faux Suede Trim and some Rustic metallic Adhesive dots.

Finally, to finish, some acorns and leaves were stamped on a Basic White card insert.
