For this month’s Creativity Abounds Blog Hop I have created an “M” fold Christmas Card
The Creativity Abounds Design Team are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.
You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, then these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin’ Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin’ Up!® teams.
These monthly blog hops also introduce you to our latest Tutorial Bundle containing lots of different inspiring projects.
An “M” Fold Christmas Card
To create the zig zag fold on the front of the card, I used some Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper. The foliage and candles all come from the Window Qishes bundle
Instructions
This is a 12.5cm square card base – or 5″ in imperial. The Designer Series Paper measured 12cm x 24cm and was scored at 12cm and 18cm or 4 3/4″ x 9 1/2″, scored at 4 3/4″ and 7 1/8″.
I cut 3 of the curved foliage garlands, which I stamped in Evening Evergreen. Because it is so easy to get this stamp out of alignment, I used my Stamparatus and a die cut template to line it up. Two of the garlands were cut in half and arranged behind the other one to give this cascading look.
They were decorated with a die cut bow and some Red Rhinestones.
The candles were attached both behind and in front of the front panel and the top trio was attached with dimensionals. this gave depth to the arrangement.
A piece of Evening Evergreen Windowpane ribbon was wrapped around the front panel and a bow added.
The sentiment, also in Evening Evergreen, was attached with dimensionals.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
