Today I am sharing these two seaside themed cards in soft colours
This blog hop is from the Crafty Collaborations community and is an opportunity for demonstrators to share something that they are currently working on. I decided to create some cards using the By the Bay Suite.
One of the events I am currently preparing for is a Stamp Camp featuring 13 demonstrators from around the world using this suite. it comprises of stamps, dies, specialty Designer series paper, ribbon and embellishments.
Seaside Themed Cards
This first card uses the Picture This die to create apertures from the Designer Series paper pack. The bird, crab and shell images all come from the Designer Series paper, either cut with coordinating dies or fussy cut. Some die cut grasses have also been added in Coastal Cabana cardstock.
The small blending brushes were used to add some Mint Macaron, Balmy Blue and Petal Pink ink to the Basic White back panel. A sentiment was also added to the bottom panel. After layering up the paper with the card layers, the card front was finished with some flat adhesive pearls and a bow of Crumb Cake twine.
This second card features a stamped image, coloured with Stampin’ Blends and die cut with the coordinating die. Some Wink of Stella was added for some glamour. The oyster shell and pearl has been laid onto a layer of stamped Crumb Cake. Torn strips of Balmy Blue and Vellum were used to give the impression of waves. A piece of Designer Series Paper was used a s a background for the card.
