For today’s blog post I am sharing two cards with a crafting theme.

The Share it Sunday blog hop comes to you from the Crafty Collaborations Community and is an opportunity for us to share some of the things we are currently doing.

Cards With A Crafting Theme

I am sharing with you these two cards I created on a recent video using the Crafting For You bundle. This photopolymer stamp and coordinating dies features crafting essentials from a variety of different crafts: – easel and paintbrushes; sewing machine and thread ;wool and of course a die cutting machine and trimmer.

As well as using this bundle on my video, it is also going to be used in an upcoming Stamp-a-Stack class.

Inspiring Easel

Using just two colours, Pool Party and Pretty Peacock I created this easel card. I have stamped the flowers from the set on my easel, but you can get very creative using other stamps, creating your own masterpiece, or adding photographs.

The background was created with a Pool Party Stampin’ Blend and the little pen pot was a stamp from the Bottled Happiness set.

Sew Good

This card brings together both stamped images and die cut pieces to create a collection of sewing equipment. The pieces have all been arranges onto a stitched circle. The background on the card was created by stamping the sewing machine multiple times on Flirty Flamingo cardstock with Versamark ink and then adding an overlay of Vellum.

The detail in these dies is incredible and you can just let your creativity and imagination go to town. The Stamp-a-Stack class is going to be such fun.
