All In One Easel Card
I love the earthy tones of the Designer Series Paper in the Earthen Elegance Suite and I have combined them with stamped and die cut images from the suite to decorate this easel card that is created using a single strip of card.
You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.
Instructions
To create the card base take a strip of Moody Mauve card measuring 10.5cm x 29.4cm and score along the long side at 10.5cm, 14,7cm and 18.9cm. For letter-size cardstock start with an 11″ x 4 1/4″ piece and score at 4 1/4″, 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″.
You then need to burnish and fold the score lines with a valley fold, mountain fold and mountain fold. The end flap folds under to create the base of the card and adhesive is added to the inner forward facing panel to create the front piece.
Decorating The Card
To decorate the card, add a 10cm / 4″ square of Copper Clay cardstock and a 9.5cm / 3 3/4″ square of Designer Series paper to both the top and bottom panels.
For the top panel, pots have been stamped and die cut in Moody Mauve and Copper Clay and foliage has been stamped in Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path. There are coordinating dies in the suite for all of these images. The tall pot was then trimmed at the top, so that the handle piece matched the width of the pot and this was stuck directly to the card front. The foliage was first stuck to the back of the shorter pot, before this was added with dimensionals.
The labels which form the stopper for the easel card, were cut from the Something Fancy dies. Some foliage was added with second generation stamping and some die cut pieces in Moody Mauve cardstock. A piece of Natural Wavy Trim under the labels adds some more texture and detail to the card. The labels are raised up with dimensionals.
Finally some gold sequins are used to embellish the card.
Of course you need somewhere to write your greeting on the card, so some panels were added to the back section. These measured 10cm x 5.8cm (4″ x 2 3/4″ ) for the Copper Clay piece and 9.5cm x 5.3cm ( 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″) for the Basic White panel.
We do like it when our cards fold flat to fit in an envelope and this fancy fold card doesn’t disappoint.

Love the “all in one” easel! Pretty card!
This is such a clever way to make an easel card
A lovely card, Helen and one that could easily be used with many different sets. Great choice with Earthen Texture though – I’m loving working with it.
