For today’s blog hop I have been creating a balloon shaker card for this month’s Creativity Abounds Blog Hop.

The Creativity Abounds Design Team are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you.  We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.

You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, then these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin’ Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin’ Up!® teams.

These monthly blog hops also introduce you to our latest Tutorial Bundle containing lots of different inspiring projects.

Balloon Shaker Card

This sneak peek project uses the Hot Air Balloon Bundle and the coordinating designer Series papers, Twine and Adhesive Backed Dots that together form the Lighter Than Air Suite. This suite will be featuring in the January – April 2004 Mini Catalogue. It has a lovely fresh colour palette and will be great for creating cards for people of all ages.

Check back on 4th January to be able to shop for the products in this suite.

Instructions

This shaker card features 2 designs of the paper on the front of this black tent fold card. An aperture has been cut into the front with the Stylish Shapes dies. these dies have also been used to create the black frame.

Some Loose Silver Sequins and pink and yellow frosted dots have been enclosed between two layers of window sheet with foam strips around the edges. This shaker element was then stuck behind the aperture.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento ink onto a Basic White insert to sit behind the aperture.

The balloons on the front were cut using the dies from the bundle in colours to match the paper. Clouds were also die cut to add to the picture.

The card was embellished with some of the Rainbow Adhesive Backed dots and a double bow created from the twine pack from the suite.

As well as these die cut balloons there is also a variety of stamped images available within the suite, so there are lots of creative opportunities.

Let’s Hop

I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects

How to Get The Tutorial Bundle

I hope you have been inspired during this hop. This project is exclusive to the blog hop, but there is lots more inspiration in the Tutorial Bundle. If you earn or buy the bundle, you will receive a PDF that will contain all the information you need to create the projects shown in the thumbnails yourself, including the products used, the measurements and detailed instructions. You can get your hands on these tutorials in a couple of ways.

How can I Help?

Here is a sneak peek of the project I created for this month’s Tutorial Bundle and this also featured the Lighter Than Air Suite.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch if I can help with your purchases, or if you have a crafty question.

Meanwhile stay safe and stay well
