Today’s post is sharing a cute Valentine’s Card and Gift bag for this month’s Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop
The Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop is one of the monthly hops that happens as part of the Crafty Collaborations community. “This month the theme is Love is in the Air.” These cute bees are certainly in the air spreading love and cheer.
Cute Valentine’s Card and Gift Bag
I used Stampin’ Up’s Bee Mined Suite to create both of these projects. It features a stamp set with a matching punch, as well as Designer Series papers, some ribbon, fun embellishments and even the Pillow Boxes.
You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.
A Valentine Card
This suite is perfect for making all the Valentine’s Cards you’ll need this year, However, these bees shouldn’t just be kept for Valentine’s day/ They are perfect for all occasions the whole year around and I’m sure they’ll create a buzz whenever you use them.
This card combined some of the papers, the stamps and the punch, along with the fabulous new Everyday Details dies from the new mini catalogue, These dies create these circles, as well as rectangles, with the dotty detail all around the edge and I love them.
The bees have a choice of faces that you can stamp on them. I particularly like this cheeky winky face.
The card was finished off with a bow made from the Sweet Sorbet Ribbon in the Suite and some Petal Pink hearts from the Embellishment set.
A Square Pillow Box
If you are going to send a loved one a card, why not add a treat as well and these Pillow boxes make the perfect packaging. I added some stamping to the box before making it up. Then I added ribbon all around it and topped it with another of those bees. This one is sporting a red heart embellishment and there re some of the flower embellishments on the box.
Not only does the punch punch out the bees, it also features two hearts, which can be used as they are, or can punch out both wings and antennae. I’ve added a Sweet Sorbet heart to my box and have cut and added the sentiment on top.
