Today’s blog hop is sharing an An Ink Blending Technique with Thoughtful Wishes and also a second Thoughtful Wishes Card.
The Share it Sunday Blog Hop comes from the Crafty Collaborations Community. It provides an opportunity for us to share some of the things we are currently working on.
Thoughtful Wishes
The products I have been using in these projects are the stamps and dies from the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle. The cling rubber stamp set and accompanying die set is part of a bigger Suite. The Thoughtful Journey Suite features some stunning 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers, as well as some coloured pearls and a pack of specialty paper.
You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.
An Ink Blending Technique with Thoughtful Wishes
This first card uses ink blending to create a textured, grungy background. There are then some clear embossed images in the background and stamped images over the ink blending. Some splashes of water and also some splatters add some more interest to the background.
The flowers on the die cut elements have had some colour added with a blending brush and the colour has then been dragged out on the leaves.
The finished card has been embellished with a bow made from a single thread of the Wild Wheat Jute twine and some of the pearls from the Suite.
Creating a Spotlight
This second card in contrast has lots of white space and features a row of coloured flowers along the bottom and a spotlight of flowers overlaid on the top with a fussy cut greeting.

Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
How Can I Help?
I enjoyed playing with this bundle on this life. The whole Suite of products will feature in an upcoming class.
In these classes you get a kit of products, including Designer Series Paper, Embellishments and ribbon or twine. We then use this kit to create 5 different cards of varying difficulty. This has become a favourite class style with my regular attendees.
Those beautiful background papers in this suite make for stunning cards and I know this will be a well received class.
After the class the PDF tutorial will be available to purchase.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if I can help with your purchases, or if you have a crafty question.
Meanwhile stay safe and stay well
