This card is my contribution to the Design Team’s selection for the latest Festive Friday Challenge, which is celebrating National Dessert day
We have used this occasion to come up with a list of elements that we call our Inspo List.
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!
My project used: pink, brown, cream, colourful embellishments, stamping technique, ribbon
I used the birthday cake from the Attention Shoppers stamp set to stamp all over the Very Vanilla background in Pecan Pie ink. The cakes were then coloured with Pretty in Pink and Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends. The flames were coloured in both light and dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blend.
Some Very Vanilla and Pretty in Pink ribbon were wrapped around the stamped mat, before it was then added to a Pretty in Pink mat and then to a Pecan Pie card base.
The sentiments were stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto Very Vanilla card and then matted onto Pretty in Pink card, before being added to the card front with dimensionals.
Finally, to finish, a bow of Pretty in Pink ribbon was added with a glue dot and some Pretty in Pink resin dots.
