Today’s blog post features a trio of Delightful Wishes Cards.

The Share It Sunday Blog hop comes from the Crafty Collaborations Community. This hop gives the opportunity for demonstrators to share some of the things they have currently been working on.
This weekend i have been taking part in a Stamp Camp as one of 13 Demonstrators designing and demonstrating projects with the Floral Delight Suite.
A Trio of Delightful Wishes Cards

We have these Stamp Camps three times a year, and as part of the event there are always 3 challenges.
Today I am sharing the challenge cards I created. For all of them I have used at least some elements from the Floral Delight Suite. This suite is bursting with beautiful spring floral images in shades of yellow and orange.
You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.
Tic Tac Toe Challenge

The first of the challenges is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. I concentrated on the diagonal line from the top left – Vellum, Sentiment and Ink Blending (although there is also some die cuts, something shiny and ribbon)
Both the floral paper in the background and the gingham paper are Vellum. The vellums in this suite are so pretty. I have wrapped the vellum around some white card stock and attached it to the back. This alleviates the problem of adhesive showing through the vellum.

The ink blending and sentiment come together. I die cut the solid “wishing” out line from the centre of an oddment of card to create a mask. After heat embossing the stamped “wishing” in white onto white card, I then lay the mask over the sentiment and used a blending brush to add Lemon Lolly ink. The sentiment was then fussy cut before being added to the card.
The forsythia were stamped in 1st and 2nd generation Lemon Lolly ink and the leaves were die cut from Garden Green card.
Picture Challenge

The Van Gogh picture challenge came from a Demonstrator from the Netherlands.
I saw the different sized strips of flowers and the buildings in the background, so decided to create a new home card.
The papers all came from the Floral Delight patterned paper pack, including the hessian effect paper in the background. the house was created using the Humble Home bundle. The house was stamped in Crumb cake and Pumpkin ie to coordinate with the papers and some Lemon Lolly punched windows were added.
I used both the 2 3/8″ punch and the 2″ punch to create the circle background.
Colour Challenge

The colour challenge was inspired by page 12 of the Mini Catalogue

This array of bright colour buddies actually align with the Friends of the Ocean Suite. By why let that hold us back! I used the small floral images in the Delightful Wished stamp set to stamp along the edge of a torn piece of copier paper to create this bright and cheery card.
As well as Melon Mambo and Peach Party flowers and Summer Splash leaves, there is also some soft Pool Party splatters. The sentiment was stamped in black so it stood out against the white background.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects
How Can I Help?
I hope these cards have inspired you to add this gorgeous suite to your basket, if you don’t already own it. But also, I hope you will use these challenges to inspire your own card making.
If the stamp Camp sounds like something you would like to be a part of in the future, our next one is scheduled for the end of June, when we will be using new product from the Annual Catalogue. We can’t wait!
