Penny Slider Turtle Card

For today’s post I have created a fun penny slider turtle card.

This card is my contribution to the Design Team’s selection for the latest Festive Friday Challenge, which is celebrating World Pet Memorial Day.

We have used this occasion to come up with a list of elements that we call our Inspo List.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

My project used: Aperture Card, Animals. Animal Themed Sentiment

Penny Slider Turtle Card

We created this card in a recent technique class in which we made cards that move. I used the Everyday Arches dies to create the aperture and a 2nd arch die to cut out the centre piece. Together these formed a track around which the fun turtle could spin. I used pennies to create my spinner, but you can also use washers.

The background papers come form the Turtle-y Cute Suite, as do the little birds and birthday cake.
