We are launching our Christmas Themed Tutorial Bundle with this blog hop, and I am sharing two cards made with the new Season of Green and Gold Suite Collection
The Creativity Abounds Design Team are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world that are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can Inspire you to make creations of your own.
You may be starting here or have come from someone else’s blog – either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed – so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, then these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin’ Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin’ Up!® teams.
These monthly blog hops also introduce you to our latest Tutorial Bundle containing lots of different inspiring projects.
Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection
The Season of Green & Gold Suite Collection is a mega suite containing two stamp and die bundles, a pack of foiled Specialty Designer Series Paper, a pack of printed Specialty Vellum, some wide Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon and some Cherry Cobbler and Pearl embellishments.
One stamp set is images, including wintery foliage and bells. It is a two step stamping set, so the resulting stamped images are exquisitely detailed. There are dies to cut out the stamped images and other stand alone dies that cut detailed foliage pieces.
The other stamp set is bursting with Seasonal Greetings and the coordinating die set creates tags of different sizes and shapes. I’m sure this will be a regular go to bundle as we create all our Christmas projects.
You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.
The Projects
This first card uses dies to cut images from the Vellum. A piece of the Gold Foiled Specialty Designer Series Paper is layered onto the Garden Green card base, along with a mat of Old Olive.
Two of the die cut labels are used to create layers. One sits underneath the arranged Vellum Pieces. The other – which has the sentiment stamped on it – has been inked around the edge. It is layered up with dimensionals.
Some of the Pearl embellishments are added, alongside a gold bow.
The second card sees another layer of Designer Series Paper. This time the pine pieces were stamped using two step stamping, directly onto a Basic White Mat. The other foliage pieces were stamped and then die cut, along with three bells. These were arranged, along with a sentiment stamped onto a die cut label. A double bow of Crumb Cake twine was added to the bells and some Opal Rounds were placed on the card front.
Watch The Video
You can see both of these cards being created on this recent Live. There was a technical hitch at the beginning with the sound, so fast forward 8 mins.
