My daughter snapped this beautiful atmospheric picture of the lock on the River Nene as she got out of the car at Wadenhoe Village Hall, all ready to set up for our day of crafting fun last Saturday.
I hadn’t used this venue before, but we were really pleased with the facilities as well as the location.
It took 2 cars to transport all the crafting essentials and food over to the venue, but we at least ensured that nobody ran out of either. The tables were groaning with crafting goodies and inspiration and the food kept coming from the kitchen in abundance all day.
We had a funky playlist on in the background that ensured a regular outburst of singalong and dance along and there were smiles, chatter and laughter all around.
Everyone seemed delighted with their goodie bags and table gifts. It was certainly a day to be pampered. A creative escape as promised.
It was a fabulous day and I can’t wait for the 2 days I have planned for 2019.
