I thought for my Festive Friday project this week, I would try some white stamping on Crumb cake card. I have seen a few of this style of projects recently and I was itching to have a go.
Festive Friday #92 – UN International Day of Peace
With all that is going on in the world, a day celebrating and advocating for peace is always something worth recognising and highlighting. The UN International Day of Peace is on September 21st and we are using it as our inspiration for this Festive Friday Challenge.
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

Instructions for White Stamping on Crumb Cake Card
- Fold the card on the score line to create the card base. stick the larger basic White mat to the card front.
- Die cut 3 three leaves from Crumb Cake cardstock. Using a sponge dauber, ink around the edges of the leaves and the Crumb Cake mat with White craft ink.
- Stick the mat to the card base.
- Taking the small outline leaf images from the “Always in my Heart” stamp set, stamp leaves over the die cut leaves with White craft ink. Use a white watercolour pencil to colour the leaves.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Love of leaves stamp set in Versamark onto a strip of Crumb cake card and heat emboss in white. Snip the ends at an angle and stick to the card front on the bottom left.
- Stick the centre leaf directly to the card base with Liquid adhesive. Add dimensionals to the other two leaves and position them either side.
- Add a bow made from crumb cake twine to the stalk of the centre leaf with a glue dot. Finish the front by adding a scattering of white sequins from the Subtle Shimmer Sequins collection.
- Stick the smaller Basic White card to the inside of the card, adding any stamping as desired.

How Can I Help?
Although it is always fun to create with all the colours in the Stampin’ Up rainbow, it is occasionally nice to choose a more restricted and soft palette. I hope you are inspired to play with shapes, Crumb cake and white.
Meanwhile stay safe and stay well

Oh my gosh! Love your card Helen!
I always love white on crumb cake, but this is an idea I’ve not thought of. The tiny white leaf images stamped on the larger leaves is brilliant. I love the look of that. That little twine bow is such a perfect touch, and the sentiment is beautiful. I love it.
Very nice card, and a good reminder to use my white ink, it looks especially nice look on the crumb cake paper!
Beautiful, Helen! I love the smaller leaves stamped in white on the leaf die cuts. What a wonderful idea! This is a perfect monochromatic card!
