It is that time of the month when I join lots of other Demonstrators from around the world for a mega Blog Hop. The thing we have in common is that we are all participating in a training group, trying to grow our businesses, improve our service to our customers and better support our teams.

These dedicated band of demonstrators are going to be bringing you a fabulous selection of projects to inspire you.

My Projects

I thought I would have a play with the Flowers of the Season Designer Series Paper and the Playful Alphabet Dies.

This paper stack literally has papers for every season of the year. I picked out this lovely sunflower paper and the paper with the spotted design. I took the one 6″ square of paper and from that one sheet, was able to create 2 cards.

Using the Playful Alphabet Dies, I cut the word “Thank You” from the spotted paper, making sure I had lined them up. I was then able to use both the individual letters and the negative piece.

First Card

For this first card, I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper measuring 13.9cm x 9.5cm. From this paper, I cut a stitched rectangles, then turned the centre panel over. I stuck the 2 pieces of DSP to a mat of Misty Moonlight card measuring 14.4cm x 10cm before wrapping some of the twine from the Flowers for every Season ribbon combo pack around this mat and tying a bow. This was then stuck to a Bumblebee card base. The spotty paper that the letters had been cut from was stuck to a mat of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and then stuck to the card front with dimensionals.

Second Card

We now have our letters that we can use on a second card. There was also a strip of DSP from that original square of paper. I trimmed the strip of DSP to 14.4cm long and stuck this to a piece of cinnamon cider cardstock, then tied a piece of the twine around this mat and tied a bow.

I cut a mat of Bumblebee card measuring 14.4cm x 10cm and stamped the floral image from the Jar of Flowers onto the Bumblebee card using Bumblebee ink, which had been stamped off. This floral panel was stuck to the front of the bumblebee card with dimensionals and I used this as a guide to stick the letters in place. The topper was then stuck to a Misty Moonlight card base.
