Amongst the beautiful collection of Gilded Autumn Speciality Designer Series Paper, is the sheet with golden pumpkins and squashes. I have been looking for a reason to use it.

The Crafty Blog Hop crew are playing with items from the Gilded Autumn Suite for this blog hop, so this was my chance.

My Golden Pumpkin Project

I set to work to fussy cut a collection of the golden pumpkins and squashes from the Designer Series Paper sheet. When I looked at these little images, there were a few features that I wanted to reflect in the overall card design:

• Gold Foiling
• Cajun Craze Colour
• White Wash Effect

I sponged the edges of a 14.4cm x 10cm Cajun Craze mat with Whisper White Craft ink to give a white wash effect border. Onto this mat, I added one of the frames from the Forever Gold Laser Cut Speciality Paper. Onto this base, I arranged the foil pumpkins and squashes, raising the ones at the front on dimensionals.

The greeting, from the Beautiful Autumn Stamp set, is Gold Embossed onto some Cajun Craze card. Once this greeting panel has been added with dimensionals, the card was finished with a bow of gold thread from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo and some Gilded gems.

Other Projects

I loved this suite of projects as soon as I saw it in the mini catalogue, so this hasn’t been the first time I have played with this suite,

A couple of weeks ago, I choose one of the papers for my Facebook Live and we did some loving and chopping and created some cards with elements from the suite.
