This blog features two easy fancy fold cards featuring the Butterfly Kisses Suite from the new Annual Catalogue.

Easy Fancy Fold Cards

I have created two simple fancy fold cards with the stamps, ink and paper from the Butterfly Kisses Suite.

These Designer Series papers are vibrant and zesty colour and feature florals, butterflies and also background papers. Along with the fun geometric dies and stamps, they come together to create fun projects that are suitable for all ages.

Gatefold Card

This gatefold card features interlocking strips across the front. I have used coordinating papers on the Calypso Coral background and the butterfly and sentiment are both in the gorgeous new Parakeet Party.

The card has been embellished with Fun Flower Resin Shapes in Fresh Freesia and a bow of the new In Color Baker’s Twine in Parakeet Party

Corner Flip Card

This second card flips the corner to give this fun effect. It is created by sticking a post-it note in the corner of the card base and then cutting from 1.5cm down from the top edge to the bottom of the post-it note and from 1.5cm in from the edge to the corner

Again I have used two different patterns of Designer Series Paper. The butterfly is stamped and die cut. The wings and the bodies are all separate elements featuring different geometric designs.
