It has been just over a week since my daughter took these beautiful pictures of the tranquil setting of the All Day Retreat last Saturday. These were taken at just after 8am in the morning as we arrived to set up.

Get Ready

The day before had seen me gathering together supplies of crafty goodness and food for the day. We always set out to ensure there is plenty to inspire our attendees. We also make it our mission to provide plenty to eat.

Go

The day itself runs from 9.30am in the morning until 9pm in the evening. Throughout the day everyone was very busy working on a variety of projects. There were scrapbook pages laid out; 3D projects constructed; calendars stamped and bound and of course lots of cards.

Mike slaved away in the kitchen all day, ensuring the food and drinks kept coming.

And Something to Take Away

Everyone who comes along gets a goody bag of new supplies all delivered in a bag I have designed for the occasion. This year the kit consisted of elements from the Perfectly Plaid suite.

And of course the day wouldn’t be complete without a chocolate treat. It has become customary for everyone to receive a gift wrapped chocolate orange. This year they were cunningly disguised as a penguin.

Next Year

For 2020 I have 2 retreats scheduled, April 25th and October 24th.

To ensure you can join us, get the date in your diary and don’t leave it too late to pay your deposit. Places on the day are limited. There are only so many jacket potatoes Mike can cook!
