A Birthday Card With Layered Patterned Paper

Today I am sharing a birthday with layered patterned paper that I have created for the Share it Sunday blog hop.

The Share It Sunday Blog hop comes from the Crafty Collaborations Community. This hop gives the opportunity for demonstrators to share some of the things they are currently working on.

I wanted to share a card I have created with Designer Series paper, because there is an offer running until the end of the month, where you can 15% off many of the designs.

A Birthday Card With Layered Patterned Paper

For my card, I picked the gorgeous Countryside Inn papers. They may be blue, but they make me happy. Several of the designs feature cute woodland creatures – rabbits, foxes and birds, as well as trees, flowers and great generic patterns.

I teamed the papers with the Labeled with Love bundle. I used the punch on this occasion, but there is the option to have a set of 3 dies to go with your stamp set. The colours I used were Night of Navy and Boho Blue.

Tearing the strip of paper gives the project some more texture and I didn’t waste the piece I tore off. Instead I used it inside the card.

To decorate the card I used Boho Blue Jute Trim and blue gems from the Opal Rounds Assortment.
