For this month’s Crafty Collaborations Crafty Challenge Blog Hop I have a card challenge using Eden’s Garden.

Each month we are issued a challenge of some sort for this hop and this month it is a sketch.

I decided I would use my new Eden Garden’s Collection to create a card, as I hadn’t yet had an opportunity to play with it. You will find all the details of this set of products below. They are currently only available to Demonstrators, or as part of your starter kit, but they will launch to customers on November 2nd.

A Card Challenge Using Eden’s Garden

The beautiful Specialty Designer Series paper features gold foiling on one side, so that was a must have for my project. As usual the paper is double sided, so I also featured one of the non-foiled patterns.

There are some beautiful dies in this collection that create frames, borders and labels, as well as some individual elements. I used one of the labels dies and a border die, but I also pulled out my Stitched So Sweetly dies for my gold and stamped mats.

The stamps in this set are distinktive and give areas of shade and light. I built up an arrangement with a few of the smaller stamps. The centre piece consists of some of Garden Gems available in this collection as well as some old faithful Gilded Gems. I also couldn’t resist a gold thread bow from the Simply Elegant trim set.

Because I used an Evening Evergreen card base, I needed to add a Basic White insert, which I also stamped with some of the foliage.
