For our new challenge I have chosen to create a card for a baker.
This new Festive Friday Challenge is all about Apple Day which is celebrated on October 21st. Although I am currently on a weight loss journey and am eating my apples in their natural state, I knew exactly which if my Stampin’ Up bundles I was going to be using. “What’s Cookin’ would give me all the tools I needed to whip up a card and the the Pansy Petals Designer Paper would add a touch of gingham. A must have for every farmhouse kitchen.
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!
My project used: green, circles, baking and gingham
My Project
Instructions
You’ll find a list of all the products i used at the end of the post with links to my shop.
This was a lovely quick card to bring together once I had gathered my ingredients. The Soft Succulent gingham paper was added to a mat of Soft Succulent card before sticking them to a Thick Basic White card base. I used my layering circles to die cut my two pairs of circles. On the smaller one I stamped the greeting in Soft Succulent ink and on the larger one I arranged my stamped and die cut utensils. I used Cinnamon Cider for the wooden spoon. All that was needed then was a swirl of Soft Succulent ribbon and a fewgenial gems.
There you have the perfect card for your favourite “Bake Off” fan, or perhaps something to slip in with some baked treats for any occasion.
Let’s Hop
I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects

Helen, I love the soft sage with the pop of brown for the wooden spoon. I also love how you captured the sentiment with a scalloped border behind it – reminds me of a fun cookie! The touches of ribbon are the perfect finishing touch

I love a good monochrome card and this is perfect – the gingham and soft sage make for a great country kitchen feel. Awesome work Helen!
Love those baking tool images, and the sentiment is wonderful. Love the monochromatic color scheme too.
So lovely in Soft Succulent, Helen! I LOVE the monochromatic look with the “pop” of Cinnamon Cider. It’s such a sweet card with a country vibe! LOVE it!
Love the gingham and all the Soft Succulent elements. The Cinnamon Cider spoon adds a great pop and focal point. Lovely card!
