For the new Festive Friday Challenge #FF0085 that launches today, we are celebrating National Flag Week, so here is a card with stars, stripes and circles.

The celebration is what inspires us and we bring together the Inspo List.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge.  Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all!  The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

Instructions

  • Fold the card base on the score line to form the square card base. Stick the Polished Pink mat to the base.
  • Using the Stampin’ Blends, draw freehand stripes on the Basic White mat. Stick this to the card base.
  • Die cut a circle and a star from the three different “in color” pieces of cardstock. Using the star flourish die, die cut some small stars in Polished Pink and Pale Papaya.
  • Stick the large stars to the circles and position them on the striped background with dimensionals.
  • Stamp the sentiment onto some Fresh Freesia card with Versamark and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder. Cut the individual words out and back onto some Polished Pink Card.
  • Arrange the small stars and the words in the background of the card. Add some of the Fresh freesia In Color Jewels.
  • Finish by adding a bow of white twine to the centre star with a glue dot.
The stitched circle on this card sits on a die cut circle with a striped background.
