I have created a Christmas wreath card for you today
This blog is to help you create a few things over the whole of the year, rather than a last minute panic.
A Christmas Wreath Card
I used the Boughs & Blossoms Bundle from the January-June mini catalogue to create a wreath. I coloured the flowers to look like a Poinsettia and some Christmas Roses.
This card is a 12.5cm/5″ square Thick Basic White card. The Mossy Meadow mat is 12cm/4 3/4″ square. The Basic White mat is 11.5cm/4 1/2″.
I started by stamping a wreath with a foliage stamp in Mossy Meadow ink. To this I added some punched out leaves in Old Olive and some of the floral punch pieces in white. Shimmery Crystal effects has been added to the end of the white floral pieces. I then stamped the flowers, one in stamped off So Saffron and the other in Merry Merlot. For the Christmas rose , I added some yellow highlights and also used white watercolour pencil. These flowers were fussy cut and added to the wreath.
The “Noel” sentiment came from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set and I stamped it in the centre of the wreath
To finish the wreath, I added some gold pearls and some shimmer gold ribbon.
