Today I am bringing you this circular fruit themed card to cover 2 challenges.

This card is my contribution to the Design Team’s selection for the latest Festive Friday Challenge, which is celebrating Harvest.

We have used this occasion to come up with a list of elements that we call our Inspo List.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge.  Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all!  The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

My project used: fruity colours, twine, circular card, apron, recipe

Double Trouble Challenge

This month we are also joining once again with the good folks at the Double Trouble Challenge. So you can link your project both to the Festive Friday Challenge and the Double Trouble Challenge.

A Circular Fruit Themed Card

A circular fruit themed card using the Blueberry Bunches stamp set from Stampin' Up!

For my card I used the Blueberry Bunches stamp set from Stampin’ Up! to create a circular apron card, with a Blueberry Muffin recipe tucked in the pocket.

You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.

I used the Deckled Circle Dies to create the card base from a folded piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock. Next, I cut a semi-circle using the same die for the apron pocket. I used a white gel pen to create the faux stitching around the pocket.

The stamped images were all coloured with Blueberry Bushel and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The blueberries had Wink of Stella added to them to give them some sparkle.

Blueberry Bushel ink was used to stamp the outline image both on the recipe tag and the insert. The Blueberry Bushel tag has the ingredients on one side and then the method on the other.

I used my Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Blend again. This time to colour some white twine to tie around the Iridescent Striped ribbon that was threaded through the tag. The top of the tag was shaped with one of the Elegant Border dies.

The Blueberry Muffin Recipe I used was actually a Paul Hollywood recipe, so that makes it the perfect card for any Bake Off fan.

Let’s Hop

I hope you have enjoyed my project. Do leave a comment if you can, because it certainly makes my day. Then it is time to hop around all the other projects’
