This is part of the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop which this time has a theme of the new September-December Mini Catalogue.

For my project I decided to use the Reindeer Days Suite of products. There is a cute stamp and die bundle, beautiful Designer Series Papers, embossing folder, gift boxes and embellishments and twine.

You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.

A Cute Reindeer Christmas Card

A cute reindeer Christmas card using the Reindeer Fun Bundle from Stampin' Up! and other products from the Reindeer Days Suite

This standard Thick Basic White card base had a mat of checked DSP added to it, with a piece of Natural Polka Dot Trim then wrapped around it. The snowflake image has been stamped several times onto a piece of Garden Green card with Versamark ink and then heat embossed with white.

The pieces of the reindeer have been die cut -the solid back piece in Early Espresso, the centre piece in Basic Beige and finally, the front piece in Crumb Cake. I also cut a small piece of the front piece from Real red and used the pop out nose piece. The reindeer was then layered up and stuck together.

While die cutting, I cut the frame piece from a square of Basic White; a wreath from Shaded Spruce; a bow from Real Red and bells from Gold Foil.

Putting the Card Together

The white frame was stuck to the stamped Garden Green Square and then this was stuck to the card front with dimensionals. The wreath was placed over the reindeer’s neck and then these were stuck in place in the aperture. The gold bells and bow were added last.

The sentiment was stamped in Real Red ink onto a strip of Basic White, before shaping the ends and backing with Real Red card. This was added to the card front with both multipurpose glue on the left-hand side and dimensionals were it hung over the edge of the square on the right-hand side.

A double bow of the striped twine was tied around the polka dot trim and some of the adhesive backed peppermint embellishments were also dotted around.

I hope you like this cute little reindeer. Make sure to check out the hop and see what other products have been used
