This card is my contribution to the Design Team’s selection for the latest Festive Friday Challenge, which is celebrating) National Wedding Month

We have used this occasion to come up with a list of elements that we call our Inspo List.

The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge.  Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all!  The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

My project used: white, metallics, pearls, congratulations

A Emboss Resist Wedding Card

To create this card I used the Pretty Petals Bundle, a photopolymer stamp set with coordinating dies.

You can see a full list of the products I have used at the end of the post, including links to my online shop.

The background floral image was created in two steps. The leaves were stamped in Versamark onto Basic White card and then heat embossed with silver embossing powder. The flowers were next stamped in Versamark, but this time heat embossed with white embossing powder.

The silver embossed sentiment was then stamped in the top right.

Next, a blending brush was used with Soft Sea Foam ink and colour was added over the bottom left-hand corner of the basic White card to give a soft haze behind the flowers. The embossed image was then buffed with kitchen towel to remove any excess ink from the embossed image.

Some flowers were die cut from Basic White card and add with dimensionals to pop up.

This stamped mat was added to a mat of silver foil and some silver ribbon was wrapped around the mat and stuck to the back.

Some silver Metallic Enamel Effects was used to create the pearls on the card front, then to finish a silver bow was added

Inside

The insert of the card was created by stamping a stem and leaves in the bottom right of a mat of Basic White card in Soft Sea Foam. After adding some blended ink in the bottom right-hand corner, another of the die cut flowers was added with dimensionals.
