A Floral Bandstand Pop Up Card

For todays blog hop I have created a floral bandstand pop up card. These are also known as Floating Hexagon Cards.

The Stamping With Friends community will all be creating variations of this style of pop up card for this month’s hop. I can’t wait to see what everyone has created.

A Floral Bandstand Pop Up Card

My card has been created using the Wildflower Birthday Designer Series Paper. This pack of paper contains, not only pretty generic papers in subtle, pastel colours, but also has a couple of sheets of pop out die cut elements.

I particularly liked this large bouquet die cut and thought it would be perfect for the front of my card.

The panel of paper on the inside of the card is a combination of pretty florals and gold foil. I have added more gold to the card with the addition of a swirl of Gold Open Weave trim. I love the soft effect this sort of trim gives.

The dies from the Birthday Celebration bundle contain numbers. This would make a great card for someone celebrating a special birthday or anniversary, so those numbers are a useful resource’

The card features a panel on the pack where you can write your greeting. And of course, always important, the entire card will fold flat to fit in a 6″ x 6″ envelope.
