Today’s blog features a Geometric One Sheet Wonder, which is a great way to mass produce cards and fun into the bargain. It was also the perfect idea for this Blog Hop.

This is a monthly blog hop, which sees demonstrators from all over the world come together to share their customer thank you cards. I have created these cards with different sentiments, but it is just the perfect technique for getting a bundle of Thank You cards together quickly. And what a great use for this fabulous little Sale-a-Bration set, “Textures and Frames”.

My Geometric One Sheet Wonder

A geometric one sheet wonder cut up to create 5 different cards

During my Live, I firstly gathered 6 different ink pads:

  • Bermuda Bay
  • Pacific Point
  • Coastal Cabana
  • Granny Apple Green
  • Daffodil Delight
  • Misty Moonlight.

There are 6 different stamps in this photoploymer stamp set. I, therefore, assigned them each a colour and used them to fill a piece of Basic White cardstock with colour and pattern. I cut the cardstock into four 10cm x 14.4cm panels to start with. The strips that were left over were set to one side. I then created card bases from Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point and Misty Moonlight cardstock.

The Cards

Now to have fun with layouts and sentiments. If you were looking for quick mass production of thank you cards, you can easily stick to one layout and one sentiment. For my thank you card, I trimmed the stamped mat so it measured 14.4cm x 9cm. I then cut into three 3cm strips. The 1cm offcut was added to the rest for a separate card. These strips were then stuck to a Daffodil Delight card base. The sentiment was stamped on some Basic White card that was matted onto some Daffodil Delight card to form the strip laying across the card.

We didn’t want to stick at one style and sentiment though, so we tried other layouts. For the Happy Birthday card, the mat was trimmed to 13.4cm x 9cm and this time was cut into 4 equal rectangles (6.7cm x 4.5cm)

Two different layouts created with the geometric one sheet wonder using the Textures and frames stamp set from Stampin' Up

The other Happy Birthday Card was simply matting our stamped panel onto a Pacific Point card base and adding a bold greeting. Then for the Congratulations card, a 13.4cm x 9cm mat was cut to create a 8cm x 9cm piece and two 4.5cm x 5.4cm pieces.

Some weaving with paper strips left over from the geometric one sheet wonder using Textures and frames stamp set.

All this trimmiing left me with a pile of strips. So how better to use them up than with a spot of weaving to create a 5th card.

How can I Help?

Five different cards created using the textures and frames stamp set from Stampin' Up to create a one sheet wonder.

I really enjoyed creating this set of cards. I think this colour scheme and the bold patterns make these cards perfect for the guys and for young people in our lives. The Thank You card is earmarked to be sent out to a customer this month. So if you live in the UK, do pop over to my online store. If you place an order of £45 or more, you could add the Textures and frames stamps set to your basket for free. Then you can create one sheet wonders of your own.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance in your crafting journey.

Meanwhile, stay safe and stay well
