For this week’s Festive Friday design Team project, I have created a Happy Birthday card in blue and silver.
The Inspo List is 10 items you can choose from to create your project in our card making and paper crafting challenge. Incorporate THREE of the items in your project and link up! And guess what? Your project doesn’t have to be about the theme at all! The selected festivity is just a unique way to come up with a fun and interesting inspiration list!

A Happy Birthday Card in Blue and Silver
When I was thinking about what I could use for this week’s Festive Friday challenge, the Boho Indigo Product Medley caught my eye. I love the papers in this collection and although they are teamed with gold foil in the kit, I saw no reason why I couldn’t use silver. This kit had recently been the focus product in one of my Lilypad Stamp Clubs, so I have had lots of fun with it.
- Stamps: Boho Indigo; Happy Thoughts
- Ink: Versamark; Night of Navy
- Tools: Boho Indigo Dies; Hippo & Friends Dies
- Paper: Night of Navy Card; Silver Foil; Boho Indigo DSP; Basic White

Instructions
- Create a standard Night of Navy Card base. Cut a mat of silver foil and gut the middle out of it to use for other projects. Stick a mat of Boho DSP to the card front.
- From silver foil, die cut a label from the Hippo and Friends die and leaves with the Boho Indigo dies.
- Die cut a small label from Night of Navy card. Stamp the Happy Birthday from the Happy Thoughts set and the little flourish from the Boho Indigo stamp with versamark on the Night of Navy label and heat emboss in silver. Stick this label to the silver label.
- Fold a length of the metallic mesh ribbon in half. Tie a length of Night of Navy twine around the end and make a bow.
- Layer up the vellum doily, the metallic mesh ribbon and the leaves on the card front.Add the label with dimensionals. Pop a frosted epoxy drop onto the label.
- Stamp some foliage in Night of Navy onto the Basic White card mat and attach to the inside of the card as an insert.

Love the DSP you used. The mesh detail is so fun and all the little extra touches are great.
