For this blog post I have created a loaded envelope with Pansy Petals paper.

The theme of this blog hop with the Stamping with Friends group was Mini Album or Loaded Envelope. I had never created a loaded envelope before, so I thought I would have a go.

A Loaded Envelope with Pansy Petals

My envelope uses one of the double sided sheets from the Pansy Petals suite. I wanted to size it so that the basic envelope is about the size of a standard card base.

The front of the pocket was shaped with the Scalloped Oval punch. I fussy cut some pansies from the Designer Series Paper to decorate the front of my pocket.

I am sure there was lots more I could fit inside my Loaded envelope, but my contents included:

• A rosette that I had created by scoring a 4cm x 30cmpiece (1 1/2″ x 12″) of DSP at 0.5cm (1/4″) intervals. This was then stuck to a stick I had created with a rolled up piece of DSP. I used small die cut circles to stick in the centre of the rosette on both sides to secure it. This was then decorated with a small pansy from the Designer Series Paper.
• Some pieces of Designer Series Paper
• A length of Fresh Freesia ribbon
• A few Opal Rounds embellishments
• A bookmark created with the Fancy Tag Topper punch and decorated in Pansy Paper and cut outs.
• A packet of Pansy seed, wrapped in some more paper.
