For this month’s Stampin’ for Christmas Blog Hop, I have created this navy & white Christmas card.
It may only seem like 5 minutes since you’ve packed away the baubles, but this hop is designed to encourage us to create a few cards a month, so that there is no last minute rush.
A Navy & White Christmas Card
For this card I used the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle that is available in the Annual Catalogue and kept a simple Night of Navy and Basic White colour palette, with a splash of silver.
This bundle contains a photopolymer stamp set and coordinating dies that you can use to create some brilliant Christmas cards, but those stars, bows and foliage can be used all year round.
Firstly the starts were randomly stamped on a Basic White panel of card in Night of Navy ink. I then heat embossed another star on some night of Navy card and die cut it. This die cut star, had a double bow of navy twine stuck behind it, before it was layered over one of the stamped stars. Having wrapped a piece of Metallic mesh around a mat of Night of Nay card, the white panel was then added on the top with dimensionals.
The sentiment was also heat embossed in white onto a piece of Night of Navy card that had been punched with the Tailored tag punch. The card front was finally embellished with some faceted gems.
Of course we need to decorate the inside, so a few more stars were stamped on the inside of the card to finish it off.

I love the non traditional Christmas color! Night of Navy is one of my favorites!
